Login Issue
Hi everyone,
Just thought i would try here to get a solution to recover an old account kmedc. I played since launch for a long while then had to stop for a time and eventually started playing again around 2017 and 2019. Since then i wanted to go back now that there are new updates and a server for my region again. Specifically the new shae viszla server. I couldnt login with my password even tried variants and tried to reset only to find out i need a security code to reset password. I did have a key a long time ago but had removed it last i played due to new phone and number etc. It has been many years after all. Its possible i reenabled a security key through my previous phone and number when i played again in 2019. But i no longer have access to it as it died and i dont have that number anymore. I even have my ea account and steam linked BlackwolfAU. I dont understand how i could have access to my ea account but not swotr seeing as they should share login. I would just like to find a solution that doesnt involve some international call. Especially after spending so much money over the years. If someone could help it would be much appreciated.

the linked ea account and swtor account do not share login, both accounts can use different emails and passwords per https://help.ea.com/au/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-account-linked/
if you cannot remove the security key as seen in https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion-Technical/INFO-SWTOR-Security-Key-Issues/m-p/4833445#M70854
then you need to call swtor support when the lines are open to remove the key to enable you to reset the password

edit: my vodafone mobile includes free calls to the UK and US maybe see if yours does too
