maintenance login problem

Many players with the streaming launcher (BitRaider) are currrently having this problem. The safest way is to wait for the maintenance to be over before you start downloading the patch, otherwise you sometimes run into issues like this. So try again in an hour or so and it should be working again.

I would monitor the twitter page:

Once they say the maintenance is over then I would try to launch the game again.  As the person above said if your on the streaming launcher you should not attempt to download the patch till the maintenance is over because it can cause problems especially if they change something.

The patch broke the patcher 🤔 but they are continuing to work to correct the issue.  Just follow the Twitter feed to get notification that maintenance is complete.

They also just posted an update. TL;DR: Do not patch until the maintenance is over or you will have problems.

"We've seen reports of people getting stuck while downloading or encountering other issues with the Launcher. We recommend not attempting to patch the game while we are investigating the ongoing issues. If you are already in a stuck state, we will update you later on what needs to be done to resolve your issue."

It started me much later than that... but damn its been entertaining.... 

Has the launcher issue been resolved for you?

This problem was with the 4.0.2 update issues they had while they were applying the update.  You need to reboot the computer.  Then you need to relaunch the launcher.  If that doesn't work, try the Launcherfix (located at SWTOR.com).  If that doesn't work.  Uninstall and reinstall.  It's painful but better you start now then have 5 days of no play and then have to reinstall anyways.

I would follow this as one of the first steps to try
