I am concerned if an SSN install also stopped , there is ample hard drive space ? just to be certain given the game needs 40GB HDD space and may be worth running a chkdsk too just to be certain while waiting.

You will need to leave the bitraider mini stub loader service running or it will not download at all

also while still looking into this, can you with the launcher closed delete the bitraider folder then start the launcher , this will trigger a file verification process
