I never got the alliance alert for getting Yuun, which has kept me from getting any and all other alliance alerts! I finished all chapters for Knights of the Eternal Empire since it kept going through the entire thing without stopping. Atm, I am reinstalling the game because the launcher decided to screw up on me. I can only hope THAT'LL fix it but I doubt it.
For launcher issues there is the launcher repair utility (link) and is a self extracting archive with just the launcher components
For game file issues there is repair methods for both streaming and non streaming patch methods
Only time I have heard of not getting him is when missions have been abandoned
