Solved

No quest markers above NPC heads or light beams for loot.

Ever since I logged in today, there are no longer any quest markers (or any markers such as trainer or crew skill trainer icons) above NPC heads and the beam of light on lootable corpses is gone. They still glow the right colour so I can see there is loot up close but not from far away any more.

I still have quest markers on my mini-map and world map.

I tried repairing the launcher with no result but I don't really want to re-install the whole game if this is something effecting other people.

I agree with @kirara_flik that is what is the case.  It's an issue with the new Crimson driver for AMD if that is what you have.  What you can do is:

    1. Lower Anti-Aliasing to Medium or Lower like @kirara_flik mentioned to do

    2. Uninstall the Crimson driver and install a previous version like 14 or lower.

    3. Uninstall the Crimson driver and install the beta version 15.11.1 which in other threads confirmed resolved the issue however since it's a beta version, install at your own risk.

    4. Wait until version 15.11.1 becomes official and install that.

  • There are some threads with that and the common solution was to turn off anti-aliasing in game under graphic preferences.

Try that and see if it will work then.

I assume you have an AMD graphic cards, eh?

  • Thanks for the help which I actually managed to find out on my own after a bit of searching. One thing though is that the beta drivers don't ficx the issue for me only rolling back does. I think I'll wait 'til they release them as general until I try upgrading again.

Version 15.12 just got released so you can try that version if you want to see if that works
  • I have the same problem. I'm running windows 10, so is it even possible for me to use older drivers ?
