Guess better run a file repair just to cover all other things
Non-Streaming launcher - Log into the launcher but don't click Play. Check for small letters "ST" in the bottom left corner.
If this is NOT present, With the new launcher after login , select the username pulldown on the top right and select settings, then press repair.
Streaming launcher - If the letters "ST" is present, close the launcher, right mouse click on the game shortcut,
select open file location and delete the BitRaider folder. Then start the launcher

I would try and borrow a different monitor just to be sure its not related to the monitor edid
Have you run a chkdsk to look for file system errors ?

No idea. I got the Jedi off Tython after turning Graphics settings to Low. No idea if that fixed the problem, or I got lucky. But now that I'm off, not feeling like pushing my luck. I've Hard Rebooted the computer 2 dozen or so times, and that isn't good for it.

Putting all gfx to low certainly makes it gfx related , glad to hear you found a workaround to get clear
if it re-occurs post back would like to track and still try and identify what is actually occurring as it isn't an issue normally seen.
