Hey my game did have the ST and I deleted the file you told me to delete but that kinda made it worse now it doesn't even play the music it just freezes.

I tried to fix mine like that guy but I'm not a subscriber so I can't get on forums. any alternate suggestions?
Post a dxdiag as mentioned in this thread, black screen is tied to the video driver it it is just how and why that remains
Hi, when I try to play on KOET, When the opening crawl is supposed to show my screen goes black and I hear the music but the screen remains black and I can't play on my character. my link to my DxDiag file is here: https://hastebin.com/etukasofun.tex

I have done all you have suggested and its still not working. please help me.
Technically the video card is below minimum specs but if it works it works, if you find it freezes you may need to lower all gfx settings to low.
anyways in regards to the dark , use this update utility (Link) and advise if a newer driver appears , if so does it sort this issue for you.
