- You all would make all the money back easily. Every item you have created for the game you sell in your market place would be all new to console players so it will all sell quickly. I played Star Trek Online on PC and when they came to console I moved to PS4 and just bought it all again. There is a lot of money to be made from console players. I know this game would take off on PS4 just like Star Trek Online which I play on PS4 only now.

- If they can do it for Star Trek Online and on PC they use just as many as SWTOR then yes. In less you are saying Cryptic Studies is some how smarter then EA?

I don't know, I can't know. Maybe the problem is just that EA simply doesn't wants to invest into SWTOR anymore.
My only care about this is that if SWTOR came on PS4 it would allow the game to survive a bit more, since it's my favorite game.
It is, indeed, a good game.
But with most of the servers being dead or defunct, there's little to no reason to put anything more into this game.
As a day 1 closed beta tester, I feel the pain that a fantastic game is ending. But they don't have the population to keep it afloat. Harbinger is the only real place that they have an active community. Everywhere else is dead or dying.- proxos6668 years agoHero+

Harbinger is no longer a server name per that link, mind people are now complaining servers are full , example link
Ok, but they literally went from 17 servers (and previous to that many more) down to five. For an entire MMO.
One French, one German, and one EU English. 2 North America servers.
I reiterate my point. Because it still holds true even now.
Dead or dying servers. Claiming that the servers are now too full is asinine. Of course they would be! They took 3 servers and merged them. They took 5 and merged them. But of course they did. It was a ghost town on some of those servers. I went through entire planets and capital ships and found not a single living person. It's why I started moving all my characters to Harbinger.
And when a game starts having less and less servers, that means it's dying. And refusing to believe that is stupid.
Putting it onto PS4 and Xbox One (which will, also, soon have keyboard support) would succesfully reinvigorate the populations.
Oh, but then it would cost them money. Which is the whole reason we now have 5 servers. Budget constraints. If I was a rapper I'd help no problem
Now can u guy bring swtor to console you should be making a lot of money with apex if you guy bring swtor Ill probably waste a few checks on it

I think that now Xbox is really going the route of supporting Xbox games with mouse and keyboard support to actually play the games it's more likely that they will offer it via Xbox. Besides, on the PS you'll have to make a completely new account and you cannot use anything that you've got on your PC account because Sony. So that's another reason to go to Xbox instead of PS4. Admittedly EA doesn't seem to care how many people they tick off but in the end I'd say BioWare is not in a position where they need even more criticism.
If Disney says do it yall have no choice simple🙂
I think Bioware and EA need to reconsider. You guys have made upwards of 1 billion dollars on SWTOR. I think you need to reconsider plans to release on consoles. There are plenty more ways to tap reserves to bolster your profits by releasing to consoles. This would be a wise business move with the new systems coming out end of 2020 not to mention Microsoft's project Xcloud which would make it possible to stream swtor to whatever you want. Your game would reach so many more players your profits you make will keep this game's development and longevity going for another 10 years.
As if EA doesn't have millions, this comment is ridiculous especially seeing as ya'll made mad money off the battlefront 2 celebration edition and didn't deliver on anything, you guys are a disgrace to the gaming community and it honestly makes me sad that you think its funny to act like you just cant make it happen, we all know you could but ur too focused on battlefield profits
- @EA_Kat its actual mockery for you to ask for millions after releasing the celebration edition for bf2, giving us absolutely no content for it, and then still claiming you have no money?!?!?!?! are you serious?
So you're saying if someone was willing to pay millions of dollars to get it ported to a console you guys would be willing to do all that work
