when you say blue circle do you mean on the launcher or the login screen of the game ?

@proxos666 When we launch the game through the shortcut, it takes us to a window where we can put in the display name and password (and security key). When we hit log in, there's a blue circle on the right of the screen (where the art is) and it spins, and that's as far as we've gotten

if this is the launcher , have you added swtor to both the antivirus and firewall as an exception ?

if not i would try installing the C++ 2008 x86 found at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-US/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170
