Why is this? I even purchased the expansion on Origin, shouldn't it show up or update? I am able to get into the free to play game via Origin.

Simplest indication you have access to expansions up to and including KOTET is you can level a character to 70 on that account.
As mentioned it does not list the expansions on the account apart from MAKEB.
- SithHieroglyph8 years agoSeasoned TravelerShouldn't that be an issue EA/Origin needs to fix? I mean what if someone accidentally purchases the game twice on Origin or through swtor.com thinking they don't own it?
When you go to the Origin store area it shows the new expansions listed but it doesn't in your account? makes no sense. - proxos6668 years agoHero+
Everything is based on days now, so 30 , 60 , 90 or 180 days , if they buy say 2 x 60 days they get 120 days of subscriber benefits they add together.
Anyone subscribing for 30 days grants access to all "currently" released expansions, ie they get all expansions regardless.
See this Link for changes between subscriber and not subscriber now
- SithHieroglyph8 years agoSeasoned TravelerIs it possible my swtor.com is not linked to my Origin account?
- proxos6668 years agoHero+
They can be linked but do not need to be, origin.com send a code by email to redeem at swtor.com, no different to buying from amazon.
You do not even need to be running or have installed the origin client to play swtor as they are separate accounts.
Hence you can just start the swtor launcher with launcher.exe in the game folder and login with your swtor account details and play the game
