Re: Returning player, unable to subscribe.

@LintilllaLenska

Your swtor account has been disabled for purchasing, this is due to the linked EA account has had its data wiped due to long term inactivity

The linked EA account was created at the same time as the swtor account was created , and will likely use the email address used on account creation ( this is most likely the case unless you have changed the email on the linked EA account previously)

If you have access to the email address used to "create" the swtor account , then use this link to reset the password on the linked EA account and then login on that account to get it restored.

Let me know if you think you have sorted the account and i can recheck the account

if you have no clue and cant get this sorted then you will need to call swtor support when the lines are open and they can update the details on the account for you

So if the original email is non existent you will need to call swtor support  to update the email used on that account

  • Thanks

    A combination of following the links you gave me and finally getting through to a token human being has resolved the issue.

    My biggest issue, is the EA account is still linked to non existent e-mail address (I had to Jerry rig a dummy server to spoof the e-mail address). If I tell EA to use a different e-mail address (like the one TOR is talking to) will it break everything again?

  • um.. so I now have two EA accounts. This one, and the one I used to post my initial question. Can I have the other one removed from the system? Or should I just ignore it and let it die of old age?

    The linkage is permanent , you will need to maintain the ea account linked to the swtor account as it is needed for purchasing , hence you couldnt purchase on the swtor account earlier

    These accounts can use separate (different) emails and passwords though

  • Hello

    I have the same exact problem. I have already changed my EA password and SWTOR password.

    It should of been using the email address you used to create the swtor account with originally , if you have created a new EA account with that email address , you can try changing the email on that new account to another , then try resetting the password used on the swtor creation again

    otherwise call swtor support when the lines are open and they can add any email you like on that ea account

  • I'm having a similar issue but I can't access the linked ea account anymore because I lost access to that email to be able to reset the password for that ea account. any advice?
