    Nothing further from CS as yet , will need to get time to go back over what has been done to see if missed anything

    Given what has been tried maybe reset the windows firewall to defaults and redo the exceptions

    Open the command prompt as administrator and type the below similar to the other commands

    netsh advfirewall reset

  • all of the programs in the exceptions list are gone except for the windows ones.

    also, I never installed the game since the launcher would not load, so that might help

    I will probably try to wait maybe another day and then just give up unless something can fix it

    @BenGold101

    Yours is an unusual issue , trying to diagnose remotely is difficult, and we have tried way more things then usual to find the cause.

    Is there a firewall on your router/modem ? have you tried rebooting that router / modem and/or turning off its firewall as a test (just in case).

    If you open the command prompt as administrator again and run the below command does it find errors ?

    sfc /scannow

  • sorry for long response time, I tried to scan it and it said there were corrupt files
  • I have decided that I will just stop trying to fix the issue because honestly, I don't like the idea of reinstalling my OS to fix a game, will accept last post as solution.
