@LordZauber
Yes it is the link to reset the password https://signin.ea.com/p/juno/resetPassword?initref=https%3A%2F%2Faccounts.ea.com%2Fconnectbest chnace to restore the account as mentioned for restoring deleted accounts at the bottom of https://help.ea.com/en-au/help/account/close-ea-account
If all else fails if you call swtor support when the lines are open they can update the email on that account to restore it https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion-Technical/INFO-Getting-Help-and-Board-Guidlines/td-p/4806237/jump-to/first-unread-message
Yeah i originally intended to link my gmail account (which is the one i used to make my swtor account) to make this ea account, but for some reason it never sent me the confirmation, so i ended up using the email i use for steam, but when i tried to to change the email and use the one from gmail it said its already registered so i don't know anymore.
Shall i try the reset password but the one from the swtor site?

Resetting the swtor password has no effect anymore per https://help.ea.com/en-au/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-account-linked
if the EA reset email isnt in your spam folder, best to call to put a new email on that account
Can't i just put a new email without having to call? There is no line to call for my country (Mexico) and honestly i prefer mails, speaking on phone for costumer service can he hard to understand sometimes, and that's on local language, i don't wanna imagine it on english xd.
Hi,
I have the same issue as the original poster. Have emailed as per your previous post regarding this, but no reply (not even an automated one). I'm getting quite concerned that I've just wasted money, and honestly, this is a terrible experience for a returning player.
Kind Regards,
C.

swtor account/displayname ? just be aware it will be monday before a response is available
Same with me too, bought a subscription on Steam, but its not activated in game.
Accounts linked, send an email at SWTOR support but there was no answer.
SWTOR username is ClaraeliseDisplayname is CharlesA

The linked EA account is disabled with its data wiped , you may be able to recover the account by using this link and inserting the googlemail.com (not gmail.com) email on your swtor account
when i checked they could not see an email from the swtor googlemail email address
Same issue here. I've purchased a subscription on Steam, but nothing happened in the game. I found out that my linked EA account was deleted because it was inactive for a long time. I have the access to my email, but when I try to restore the password I receive nothing on my email. I've been trying to reset my password for 2 days already and still nothing. Inserting the googlemail.com instead of gmail doesn't help. The support can't help me either. Is there an other way to restore EA account?
I contacted the swtor customer service through phone as per the instructions, we reseted the password on the linked account and they put forward the suscription time, telling me it will take 24-48 hours for it to apply, and that a mail will be sent, yet 48 hours had passed and i have no email, is the suscription time up?

if you call swtor support when the lines are open they can update the email on that account for you https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion-Technical/INFO-Getting-Help-and-Board-Guidlines/td-p/4806237/jump-to/first-unread-message
I really don't want to call anywhere. I don't know how much it will cost me from my country, and I don't want to pay more for something that I've already bought. I guess there is nothing else I can do. Maybe there is a workaround if I create a new SWTOR account from scratch and link my steam to it, would the subscription I've already bough on Steam apply to this new account?
- proxos6663 years agoHero+
If you create a new swtor account , and link that account to the steam account that made the purchase, and then resend in the screenshots from the email address used on the new swtor account , they can add the gametime to the new account
- proxos6663 years agoHero+
Your email is in the queue for an agent to add the gametime , just need to wait for their reply now
So I'm having the same issue again after I already wrote support because of it last month. They fixed it last month, but now it's not working again, I thought they'd fix it permanently. Any way I can fix it permanently? Because it used to work just fine before last month... (swtor account name is MinasMorgul)
- @proxos666 can I please get help too? why is this happening when it never happened before.
Goog day. I also have problem with steam subscription. Please help me add it. Already reset my EA password
Dear friends, good morning, yesterday I bought a 30-day subscription to SWTOR which is not reflected in my account, which is linked to the steam account. account name: Alexanderfinix email associated with the account: [edit: email address removed]
Stream Account Name: HojaestrellaEmail associated with steam: [edit: email address removed]
- proxos6663 years agoHero+
To fix the account You need to reset the password on the linked EA account persona hojaestrella that account uses the same email as on your swtor account
use the following link (insert the swtor email) to reset the password then login on that EA account to fix the swtor account for purchasing
for future purchases, use incognito mode on chrome initially if you purchase on swtor.com to be sure browser cache and cookies is cleared
when i checked support did not see an email with the steam screenshots , has one been sent from the email attached to the swtor account ?
My dear, Thanks for answering, I did everything listed in your answer, I reset my password and yes, it is the same email for both steam and SWtor accounts. Also verify that the swtor account is linked to the steam account. otherwise send email to support e mail with the data and screenshots that they had requested and they never responded, 5 days have passed since then. My Swtor account is Alexanderfinix I attached steam images. thanks for your help

You still need to reset the password on the linked EA account
You need to reset the password on the linked EA account persona hojaestrella that account uses the same email as on your swtor account
use this reset link (insert the swtor email) to reset the password then login on that EA account to fix the swtor account for purchasing
Support have your steam screenshots but cant add the gametime until the above is sorted
