Hello there,
tried both, than reinstalled whole game to whole new hard drive, than again tried both - still no change. Game runs, cannot log in any character except those on starting planets. Icon beneath says "quick play mode" with downloading percentage at 0 - does not change during playing. Any other hint please?

i would think reinstalling as nonstreaming per https://answers.ea.com/t5/Troubleshooting-Guides-Info/Guide-How-to-Switch-to-Non-Streaming-Launcher/m-p/4867417
should be a solution albeit it is a new game install pretty much

the one thing that seems to be the main effect that people have mentioned on the 0% thing is using a specific nividia driver update that happened on the 24th after that update everyone was getting this issue some part of the swtor does not support apart of it by the looks cause you can log in and be fine then if you quit game and relog in the game will have the quick play 0% download thing at the end of it I'm sure there will be a patch fi there isn't I'm disappointed since well I'm not planning on dialling back my drivers for one game but this problem seems to be occurring cause of that if you leave it an hour after quitting game and log back it it will run normally again but if you quit out and go back on instantly it will have the 0% effect again
- 6 years ago@Ainsooalgown9797 Hey thanks for the input but I do not have the latest Nvdia driver installed, I am still on the version from May so I am not sure if this is fully accurate. Any more ideas?
Or could it be that the driver mess up takes place even if I didnt download the latest update? Seems unlikely...

switching to non streaming is one way https://answers.ea.com/t5/Troubleshooting-Guides-Info/Guide-How-to-Switch-to-Non-Streaming-Launcher/td-p/4867417/jump-to/first-unread-message
QA are looking for people to supply the following if interested in helping
The following files might help them to find the root cause:
<install path>\logs\launcher_*.log
• The whole folder <install path>\Bitraider\config
• <install path>\Bitraider\ClienSet.xfr
• <install path>\Bitraider\Clientck.xfr
• <install path>\Bitraider\NetClnt.xfr- <install path>\Bitraider\logs

I finally fixed my issue by reinstalling the entire game. I tried everything before resorting to this.
I think it's possible that there something wrong with an asset file. Perhaps something got corrupted in the last patch.
