    Try to reinstall all of your drivers. Even if you are 100% sure that they are up to date.

    That's probably the most common issues for Error Code 7.

    MOD EDIT - Reinstalling Video drivers as detailed in this post is usually the solution for C7 error on a computer that has played the game before.

hopefully it could be something as simple as run the shortcut icon as admin and checking windows updates if you haven't checked in  while and or the shortcut icon in compatibility mode windows xp service pack 3 edit to add or win vista compatibility mode

I am running the game as adminstrator, have been doing so for years 🙂

    hopefully the others can assist better than i 😃  as i'm newish to SWTOR playing  and troubleshooting some issues  (hope to improve on that too )
