Someone in the German forum figured out something very interesting.
Here is the path from Germany to EA San Francisco (if he's right):
Telekom Germany -> Level 3 USA -> Level 3 Ireland-> Bioware Ireland (2 adresses) -> EA USA San Francisco.

HEHE no he isn't right
EU servers are in Dublin, the IP locators are never 100% accurate depends on where the IPs are registered
Your pathping though does show where an issue is starting and is affecting all hops after including the servers

62.154.33.74 and belongs to AS3320 Deutsche Telekom AG
To explain, the 5% loss displayed between the numbered lines is what hurts a connection.

You might be right, but not everyone who is complaining about the lags is using Deutsche Telekom.
Others are using Vodafone, EWE Tel, 1&1, O2 etc.
For me it's very interesting that these issues start in the evening when the servers are populated.
If the population is low (till 8.00 pm) there is no lag issue.
Hmmm and why did this issue start at the beginning of September?
It's all a little bit weird.
Internet Is a live beast
I cant answer a cause for all issues but I can interpret results that give packet loss affecting forward route that will affect game play
I play from Australia without major issues
Common things that occur on a daily basis affecting internet performance
