Star Wars old Republic, Frozen on Chapter one of the new expansion

Hi guys and gals! Having some freezing issues about the new expansion, fallen empire. No spoilers of course. so I have been playing Star Wars for a while now and have been enjoying the game. I even got to play Knights of the Fallen Empire when it came out. Really enjoyed the first chapter, but the start of the second chapter, it froze. Mouse can move around and sometimes, the music is still playing but it won't proceed on with the cutscene. So doing research, I deleted my character and recreated another level 60 character only to now have it freeze before I get to the cutscene leading to the Throne room. Please help as I am so interested to play this expansion, that I am sadden I cannot continue further. Laptop is a Pavilion dm4 i5. Never had this issue before. If there is a thread that resolves this issue or if anyone was able to fix this. PLEASE let me know. thanks!

    @ManDadalore

    Try running a repair to be sure

    Non-Streaming launcher - Log into the launcher but don't click Play. Check for small letters "ST" in the bottom left corner.
    If this is NOT present, With the new launcher after login , select the username pulldown on the top right and select settings, then press repair.
    Streaming launcher - If the letters "ST" is present, close the launcher, right mouse click on the game shortcut,
    select open file location and delete the BitRaider folder. Then start the launcher
     
    Lower all in game gfx prior to the start of the cinematic and see if that helps, if this is a intel video card , by memory I have seen a freeze issue with them.

    Hey thanks for the tip, it ran a bit smoother, however it still didn't help me get through all of the scene and freezes. I am going to try and do some technical stuff with my computer before doing this again. GREAT TIP!

    @ManDadalore

    If you like post a dxdiag per here  can have a look , worst is can flag this dxdiag back to the studio in case it helps for a patch to help those affected.
