Stuck On Loading Screen

Worth testing logging in on another computer on that network, and also if possible testing a different internet connection and see if it persists
From what I have been reading online is that there have been malicious attacks all over the internet and affecting online games. Is that the reason for current connection problems people are having?
if that was the cause there would be multiple people posting with the same issue on the swtor forums, given i only see you posting about this issue (login server issue is different issue), either its a local net issue or local system issue is more likely at this point
hence testing a different net connection , even if tethered to a mobile using the gsm network not local wifi
Well, I have been reading the forums on swtor.com. One person said they contacted customer service and the customer service rep said they have had malicious attacks on their "services". I have played WoW and they have been maliciously attacked on occasion. These attacks are happening around the country.
I have changed my WiFi internet from 2.4GHz to 5GHz. I plugged in a Ethernet cable to see if I could play the game, but I still have connections issues. People are playing other online role-playing games without any problems. But if they play SWTOR, they have problems.
Here's the thing, if I didn't have problems playing the game Friday morning (11/01/2024) then why would I have problems hours later? I have everything installed to play the game. I have done all that I can to get the game to play. The problem is not on my end. Sometimes I get past the loading screen to see the servers, but I get "A connection error has occurred" seconds after the servers attempt to connect. (Star Forge, Shae Vizla, and Satele Shan) The problem is on Broadsword's end.
I have emailed swtor support and got 2 replies from them. They had me attach dxdiag report, Microsoft System Information Summery, a developer.log file and my SWTOR account names in a reply email message. They are going to investigate the problem further.
