sub problem

I recently purchased a 60 day time card from amazon, and when I tried to redeem the code on the swtor website I received this error:

"There is an issue with your Electronic Arts account which will prevent SWTOR purchases until resolved. Please contact customer support (https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-support) for further assistance."

given that theres no refund option for this in Amazon, I'm stuck trying to fix it.

    Email the code into support@swtor.com from the email on the swtor account, and they can add the gametime manually for you

    Your account has been sent to studio for fixing, they should email when it is fixed

    Another option to subscribe for now as a workaround, is if you install the game via steam and login and play on a character to be sure the accounts are linked , you can then subscribe via steam whilst this gets sorted

  • So I've sent the code and I'm just waiting to hear back. I imagine I won't hear back till Monday which is fine, but this is all I should do for now? 

    Also if I were to buy a sub through Steam wouldn't I just be paying for two different subs?

    you may need to sub through steam once the gametime from the code runs out , if the account isnt fixed by then, hopefully it is
