I am having same issue. Tried changing EA password and using different browsers. Neither worked

Support suggested usual billing troubleshooting
try the usual billing troubleshooting: wait at least 24 hours before another attempt, use paypal, re-add card, talk to bank because new EU rules is declining payment, call support if it persists
