I can only recommend calling swtor support and ask them directly, there is only so much can be done on a open forum , however the person i messaged see's no issue with the account or any saved billing data on that account.

Thanks, but somehow I don't think that making a likely half-an-hour international call in order to recite this entire conversation and get the similar 'we don't see any issues on our side' sort of response is a good investment of anything. I've already mailed the support. Given it's not my fault this is happening I would expect them to actually do something for a change and figure out what the issue is.
In any case, thanks for trying to help.

Well the email support directed me to the phone call support as well, since they apparently aren't supposed to handle billing related issues via mail. So that was a waste of time, but at least they answered within a day, so it wasn't too bad. Honestly though, making an international call to support will probably cost me as much as 6 months of subscription itself, so not going to bother. Resolved the issue by just paying from a virtual Qiwi card, which I had some leftovers on. Honestly, I still have no idea how SWTOR charged me for subscription for 2+ years if they supposedly didn't store my card credentials, nor why the system kept trying to charge from the card with old credentials, even when I was typing new ones in. Maybe it's a recent thing. I do hope that they'll look into it even if I'm not going to pursue the issue further, but honestly, the likelihood of that is slim. Anyway, hopefully this helps someone who might find themselves in a similar situation.
