SWTOR - Black Screen, but "still there".

Hello!

This happened a few months ago. I was playing SWTOR and my screen went black and I thought I had a typical bug, BUT I could still see very small amounts of bright color and some animation, as well as hear audio that was unaffected. I could see the "Legacy" bit at the main menu, and when I hovered the courser over the settings and other stuff in the bottom left, I could see the blue icons pop up. I tried taking a screen shot, but the screenshot DOES NOT show what I saw on my monitor. This has only happened in this game. All of my other games have never had this issue. 

I've tried to mess with the settings, but I can't see anything anywhere besides pixel colors of some of the title details. 

- My graphics card is up-to-date.

- My monitor works fine.

- I didn't mess with any of the settings (that I know of) to make it do this.
