SWTOR - Galactic Trade Network Completely Empty
Helloooo
So i got kind of 2 problems,
The first being when i open up the Galactic Trade Network, nothing shows up, from what i can gather i can sell stuff, but i cant buy, its completely empty.
The second being i cant make a help ticket, just curious is it because i'm currently a Free to play player?.
I'm new to the game so still trying to get the hang of everything, started playing about 3 weeks ago, currently level 23 in case it helps.
Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated.

The GTN window will indeed be empty at first, as it waits for you to search for something first. There's many hundreds of pages of things on sale, so it wouldn't make sense to immediately display everything listed.
If you're looking for some new gloves for example, select the criteria (Category, Subcategory, Slot, and minimum Rarity) but avoid the "usable by" section as that tends to bug out often. As you can see you can also set a price and level range for what you're looking for.
As for the in-game ticketing system, that is indeed restricted to subscribers only. If you need help you can always send an email to support@swtor.com or if you have a billing issue, you can call in.
