my sith inquisitor has lost its crushing darkness abilty. do any one know why, and if so how to fix it?

I believe that's just a bug. It might be worth checking the patch notes to see the inquisitor combat changes.

Since the new patch hit the servers all characters had their utility points refunded.
You may need to redo utility points to see your lost abilities and may need to train some abilities due to changes in the skills granted.
