SW:TOR and EA account problems. Emergency

Problem#1 usually means there is already another swtor account with that email address , you can try using googlemail.com as that is seen as a different email address

Problem#2 subscribing on steam will work as there is no account issue on that account and steam is linked now , if you purchased before linking the accounts fully you need to email uncropped screenshots per https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion-Technical/INFO-Steam-Purchase-Not-Working/td-p/9356718/jump-to/first-unread-message


Account linkage is done on account creation , if you go to the transaction page the linked ea account email address is listed on that page 

in your case it is the email used on that swtor account 

The account linkage is permanent , so if you try to close or merge that ea account it will break that swtor account , and a new swtor account will be needed 

the swtor account and linked ea account can use different emails and passwords now as per https://help.ea.com/en/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-account-linked/

@proxos666Ok thanks for the quick reply. I have activated the EA account then. how can I change SWTOR email address?
Do I need to do anything else in order for Steam to be able to activate my Subscription?
SWTOR and STEAM are linked

with gmail if you use you@googlemail.com in the swtor account that email will turn up to the email of you@gmail.com so in theory you can have 2 swtor accounts going to the 1 email for example

as longas you have emailed the uncropped screenshots and be sure to include the swtor account name just in case, you just need to wait for their reply by email
