if you get login failed with leaving the key part blank , then the password is wrong

as i said,if i leave it blank,i get 'Security Key field is required'can you remove the key >? on that page

i did some reading on it and the way i understand it,you get to this page by logging in with your screen name + password and leaving the security field blank...and i dont get that far because of said error message
