Are you talking about the monthly complementary coins you receive for having a subscription or something else? What email are you referring to?
ok i was online looking if theres was a way to get coins for a giveaway or ingame means other then achievements came along i post about how swtor was giving complimentary cartel coins if you signed up for there newsletter i have been signed up for that when i got the game when it first came out.

Just a reminder to check your accounts and enable email updates by Feb 14th for the free 1050 cc reward.
- Log into your SWTOR account at the SWTOR website.
- Click on the top right drop down menu and go to "My Account".
- Go to the "Basic Information" tab in your account menu.
- Check the box next to "Sign up to receive Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ updates by email.
- Click save at the bottom

and i only found out about it this week but i went to check if i ever got the coins but the only thing that shows up is my achievements and the key guard
and when i log on to game it only shows me have like 280 coins cause i never spent any cause i was saving up to unlock races
i also got the email if u want a pic but i click the links in the email and just get sent to a black screen site so i hope i can get the coins but its been years so my hope is very small atm the emails date is 11/6/2012 but like i said no catel coins where gave to me
Yo ucan send an email to support@swtor.com and see what they say (dont hold much hope but that is just my view)
As to earning cartel coins add the security key to your account will give you 100cc a month
aright ill try that if no one has anything else that can help i guess that will take care if what i wanted

@Sydneyferr Just chiming in to clarify that for monthly coin grants (subscription, security key, referral, etc.) and internal promos and competitions, whatever coins will automatically apply to your account without the need to "claim" them separately.
If it's an external competition or promo (Twitch, Amazon, etc.), these usually require code redemption to claim.
