without a dxdiag of your system
with the game closed goto :\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\BioWare\Star Wars-The Old Republic\swtor
Delete just the file called diskcachearena then login and do the repair again from there when you get into the character select screen lower all gfx to low from the settings on that screen
then see what occurs

I deleted the file and re-runned a repair, and it just keeps crashing as before.
I have all the graphics to minimum always (as my laptop is not too good), however I can play and access republic fleet perfectly fine.
Thanks for the instructions anyway, do you have any other suggestion?
