SWTOR encounters unspecified error during initializing
I'm trying to load SWTOR but it keeps saying it's encountering an unspecified error. It has downloaded and installed all patches from what I can tell. [ Spoiler ]

I did not try restarting my computer, but seeing as the issue was something to do with bitraider, I deleted all files associated with bitraider and it worked. Thank you for your help anyway.
It didn't work for me, nor did restarting my computer. this has been an issue for me for months now, I've been paying for a subscription to a game I cannot play. another thing to consider, I am having the same issue on my laptop, Unspecified error. After reading your post, I tried deleting the bitraider file as you mentioned. what i don't get is why one cannot use the repair utility on the launcher before login.
switch to non streaming per this guide, unspecified error cannot exist with non streaming
There is 2 patching methods and there repair is per this guide link repair on the launcher is for non streaming only.
just in case there is a known issue using total av that will cause an unspecified error or a 310 error if you swicth patching if relevant.
