I'm not receiving the one-time password email.

Hello and good day to everyone reading my problem.

 

I've tried repeatedly, both last night and today. They're not sending the one-time password for the game to my email address. I've tried countless times. I used to be able to log in before. Now I can't access the game.

 

When I tried to resolve my issue, I saw a page that said "Call our customers," but it only had numbers for the UK, Germany, and the US.

 

I'm not even bothering to write this message because I'm so angry.

 

The world's biggest games don't use this system for millions of players. To log into my favorite series, I have to wait 15 minutes for the password, and they're NOT SENDING it. Furthermore, I can't find a direct customer service representative to contact them to resolve this issue.

 

By the way, I want to remind everyone that we're living in the year 2026.

 

Please help me.

  • Check the spam junk folders just in case , but if you cant find them then calling is the only way to regain access to the account 

    maybe check your mobile plan , like here in Australia  for example most mobile plans offer free calls to all tier 1 countries these days

    I have the same experience.
    I can't log in cause I am not receiving the verification email, I've been told to call them, I can't. I've been told to zoom call them, had issues there. I only need an email, why is this so hard for a big company like EA. 

    Other platforms are not this bad. I've logged back into numerous other platforms with 0% effort. and I didn't need to try and call anyone or scour the internet for answers.

    It is 2026 indeed, please EA, upgrade your security already

  • This exact same issue since 11am yesterday, ive checked EVERY email i have incase im checking the wrong one, but i did a "Forgot Display Name" and it went to my main email immediately but when i do "Forgot Password", an email never pops up. After a few hours i thought maybe i was sending too many requests so i tried one last time with the Display name and again it was instant. Id like to contact support but given i dont have a phone plan as i dont really need to make outgoing calls its basically impossible.

    Any chance a Community Moderator can respond to this? I would like to actually play the game.

    You will need to call swtor support when the lines are open if the OTP email is not arriving and likely will be asked to use a different email address

    No one here in this forum can assist with this issue

    You can email mailto:support@swtor.com however do not be surprised when they ask you to call

    I have the same issue and I know that my account was linked to my e-mail since I still can find them there.

    The support is not there, all of the phone numbers are a dead end and writing them an email has been to no use so far.

    Phones are available during the listed hours calling outside the open hours will get a message not available 

    Emails are usually responded to within 24hrs , however for OTP issues they usually ask you to call
