SWTOR exitting itself

So, this is a new strain of CTD I've been experiencing ever since the "optimisation" patch. This is what happens:

I play SWTOR normally just minding my own business, doing story missions etc(nothing large scale mind you)-mostly solo stuff. And then out of a sudden the game looks like it missed a bit or skipped a bit or had a brain fart. It mini freezes itself(for some 1-2 seconds) and then it exits itself. Just like that. Windows doesn't say "SWTOR has stopped working" or anything to that effect. The game just exits itself. It does that at random intervals anywhere I might find myself-it happened on Corruscant, on Belsavis, on Voss, on both fleets, on DK, on Taris(Rep) etc. So, it's not localised.

I've tried scanning memory and doing the HDD check and everything is fine. I've even done AV scan, everything's fine.

So...what am I supposed to do? I don't want to play SWTOR in constant terror due to a possibility of a crash. Yet I want to play it so badly. PLEASE HELP!

    Start with the basic game file steps initially

    Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\BioWare\Star Wars-The Old Republic\swtor

    and delete the file called diskcachearena (don't delete the swtor folder)

    Then Do a repair ,

    Non-Streaming launcher - Log into the launcher but don't click Play. Check for small letters "ST" in the bottom left corner.
    If this is NOT present, click the cog icon and then run the repair option.
    Streaming launcher - If the letters "ST" is present, close the launcher, right mouse click on the game shortcut,
    select open file location and delete the BitRaider folder. Then start the launcher

    What is "disk cache arena"? I kinda understand the first two words but the last one baffles me.

    And yeah, I was always interested in what "ST" meant. Thanks.

    edit: I also can't repair from the launcher even after deleting "DCA". New launcher...

    Should I also delete the bitraider exe from swtor folder?

    It does not work. It exitted itself again. * game is broken!

    Maybe the problem is in streaming mode? Any way to turn off the bitraider and streaming mode?

    This just means the game files themselves appear ok

    What OS is this ? if you press windows key and type "reliability" is any errors listed ?

    I just scanned the disk again-no problems(although it had some 4 in the beginning, it hasn't helped swtor). I'll even try downloading another antivirus and try with that?

    Typing reliability in search gave me nothing.

    edit: Silly me, it's win7 64bit

    Sorry its getting late here near 11pm so have to go soon

    Type reliability and open the "reliability monitor" and check for errors

    If you had disk errors previously

    open a command prompt as administrator and type

    sfc /scannow

    Thank you for all your help!

    Reliability monitor said nothing about swtor and only perhaps few things I was unaware of. This is a stupid question, but could another application cause such an amount of systemic instability so it leads to other programs closing themselves? Even if it is closed...or...could BattleNet interfere with the work of computer?

    edit: sfc didn't find any integrity violations.

    Short answer is yes it is possible

    Could try running a clean boot , When you disable everything as detailed leave any bitraider services running on the clean boot for now.

    symptom if don't do this will be the launcher will stop at 100% and no playbutton
