SWTOR Flickering screen on fullscreen

Morning /wave.

James from the QQ table has stepped away from the office, something about he had take an 2V-R8 unit to Anchorhead and have its memory erased. Kept muttering it belonged to us now..

I have a suspicion that you may have a resolution issue or a specific driver causing you grief.

It's not a specific resolution or driver. I updated my driver just after having this issue in an attempt to fix it. It's not a resolution problem because it affects me on multiple resolutions.

Not sure what point it is doing a dxdiag because SWTOR is the only game that causes this problem.

The joy of a DXDiag.log is it allows me to see that your currently using your HD4600  rather then your NVIDIA GeForce GTX 765M.

Try turning off the built in GPU of your CPU

Odds are you do not have DX9.0c installed either.. more reading material for you below if you wish

I am selecting to use the dedicated graphics card in my nvidia geforce settings AND on right click on swtor.

Do you have a link for dx9

Can you elaborate on what you mean by flickering screen ?

The screen is *ering/stuttering black all the time. Screen tearing black also.

I would think disabling the HD4600 via your bios would be an ideal step, then you would know for certain that 'we' could  do a complete driver rebuild using ...

Completely focused on getting your series 7m sorted.

No I am not disabling my dedicated graphics card via my bios. EA must be aware of another alternative. As the game is not using that graphics card.

Its your system thats not using your NVIDIA GeForce GTX 765M, not the game, the system is telling the game what you have.
