  • @fMyne Well you can remove it from the login page on the website and then reapply it using the SWTOR SK app on the Google Play store.
Is your old key missing or out of power?

Hey folks, sorry to hear you're having issues with the old authenticator key.

Sadly it is a case where we can't help with this directly here on the forum as only support can help with account issues.

You will need to get in touch with SWTOR support directly by following the steps in this article :How to get help with STAR WARS™: The Old Republic™

If you are outside the countries mentioned in the article you can contact support by following the steps in this post here: Getting help with SWTOR from another country

  • I have tried removing the authenticator the way that is suggested on the SWTOR website, but I never receive the email to reset it and it's been days (yes, I have checked the spam folder). contacting the help.ea.com as is suggested on the website got me one reply where they asked for my user ID and email address, which I responded with, but I never heard back from them after that and when I go to check the status on the case it says that they are waiting for me even though I've already replied with the information they need. I have tried contacting EA Help via. twitter, which has also been silent so far.

The link you are posting suggests going to the SWTOR forums (Which require we can login in order to post our problems), login to the game (which we can't) and file a ticket, get help on the answers community (which you are saying we can't?), reach out to the SWTOR team (which suggests submitting a ticket ingame, going to the answers community or calling them on one of 4 phone numbers from other countries than I am located in).

I really appreciate that you are here Rtas as well as the other community managers, because you at least reply and try to help to the best of your abilities where other EA instances seem unresponsive or broken. I'm just at loss for where to go at this point and from seeing the other posts I'm guessing I'm not the only one. The support for SWTOR just seems like it is terribly handled in general.

@zephyerdk I get your frustration completely but unfortunately we can't help with this kind of issue here on the forum.

If the link I provided above doesn't include the country you're in you can still contact via the English support numbers and the SWTOR support team should be able to get you sorted.

Appreciate you getting back to me and I really do understand the frustration.
