SW:TOR Security Key (how to remove w/o having an active one)

SW:TOR Security Key

So the problem is as always: don't have any security key on me, don't remember it to be installed (probably have done it, but deleted the app )plus changed the phone)).

What I am concerned of - you have an option in launcher "LOST SECURITY KEY?" which used to guide you to one-time generated key to remove one attached. But for some reason EA moves support of SWTOR to EA web and does not support that feature.

I am sort of fed up with this * sec key set ups you guys are doing in gaming industry and favor only ArenaNet for linking that * up to a mobile phone. So please tell me how can i settle this EASY and FAST without having to contact the god damned support since it is hell of a time consuming.

Thanks in advance

PS i ran across the mobile app once again and it requests a serial number, tried entering a CD key of the game, it generates a key, but it doesnt fit. so i suppose there should be a serial of the app. or additional generated during 2step sec setup

    Thank you for the answer, unfortunately that is the case with the link:

    a) on the web site there is no longer a link "Lost your security Key?"
    b) the link is still persistent in SWTOR launcher, however it leads to an old page, which in it's turn tells that support section is now moved to EA platform thus not providing me with a solution

    I do hate when large companies move stuff and forget to double check if everything was moved. :C

    @threehearted

    Forget the launcher it is not used to remove the security key , the link still exists for me currently when i go via www.swtor.com to remove my key, but I have the new key app.

    unfortunately it means your key can only be removed via phoning CS currently if the link is not showing, from there you should be able to use the website to remove in the future once a new key is added.

    It is likely a legacy from the old digipass app to when they changed to comply with the RFC 6238 which is the standard TOTP hence why the swtor app doesnt need to be used now.

    to contact CS see db woodynz post here with a link to numbers and how to use skype if you have it.

    Using skype with that contact is a free call to the best of my knowledge, that number is only available as per the hours listed (Support available from 9.00 CT - 21.00 CT) so need to confirm time zone etc

    "Lost your security Key?" does not appear for me. Customer support number for my country (Singapore) does not even work. Correct password but cannot login due to no security key. I was previously a sub hence i was able to set it up.

    Any ideas on how to proceed?

    @lFarCrZl

    Contacting by skype is best as detailed below and that is the US CS

    The number is listed for singapore is the UK number

    So depending on what your IDD code out is

    00X (00X is replaced with your IDD code) country code is 44 and number is [removed by CM]

    Now that number is normally available from 15.00 GMT - 3.00 GMT however given it is New Years Day they may be closed
