SWTOR Security Key

I deleted my SWTOR security key app, and reinstalled but not i have lost my serial number. I can't get the number without logging into the account, and that is the problem. It wont let me log in unle...

    You can request a one time password to remove your security key. Go to https://account.swtor.com/user/login and enter in your username and password, and leave the security key blank. Press log in. On the next page click "Lost your security key?" and you will be given instructions to login with a one time password and remove the key.

I don't get login failed. I get this message: If you don't believe you have a Security Key attached to this account, you'll need to contact Customer Service. My username and password work, but I'm still not getting the option to get a one time password.

I haven't played in years and this whole thing with a lost security key is making me want to just uninstall it and move on with my life. How is forcing me to make a call any more secure than sending an email or using my cell phone number which hasn't changed in a decade or more.
