Swtor STEAM subscription not working

The swtor and linked EA accounts can now have separate emails and passwords per https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-account-linked

But given the EA account was disabled needing a password reset this stops all purchasing on the linked swtor account until it is reset.

we will see now/ cause i reseted it from gmail, i and reseted it from hotmail,

I did noticed that now I can enter in subscrition page on my swtor account- i couldnt  even do that yesterday

your mail turned up but on a different account, they have let the agent who handled it, know which is the correct account, so should hopefully you get your gametime soon

Your account has been sent to studio for fixing, they should email when it is fixed

to subscribe for now as a workaround, if you install the game via steam and login and play on a character to be sure the accounts are linked , you can then subscribe via steam whilst this gets sorted

I bought 30 day subscription a few hours ago and it won't work says I'm a free to play player.

my swtor account is : betbotw  steam is linked

Have you requested an EA / origin account deletion in the past , swtor support cannot locate the linked EA account for that swtor account

ultimately deleting the ea account breaks the swtor account per https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/account/close-ea-account/

in this instance it is best if you unlink the steam account from the swtor account betbotw , create a new swtor account and link to the same steam account and then email the proof of purchase per the steam sticky https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion-Technical/INFO-Steam-Purchase-Not-Working/td-p/9356718/jump-to/first-unread-message

i did not do such a thing it is a new account.

The swtor account "betbotw" is not a new account, and it seems you did request the linked EA account to be deleted , that breaks the linked swtor account permanently

You need to create a new swtor account and linked the steam id again to the new swtor account and send in the proof of purchase for the steam purchase again per the sticky

Hi again, thx for your work, the issue has been fixed, I subscribed with no problems)

Bought a subscription on Steam, but its not activated in game.
Accounts linked, sent an email at SWTOR support but there was no answer (Email was sent from address used with my SWTOR account).

i did wait a couple days before this message just in case.
