I have the same issue, bought a sub on steam and its not applied to my account.
I've checked my steam account is linked, the SWTOR account name is ookz.
Any attempt to change options in the subscriptions area results in an error and to contact support.
I have sent the email with the two steam screenshots as required from the email address used to create the account etc.
Are you able to fix this please?
Also, why is this such an issue?
Could you just get them to pull the steam subscription from the store as its not working properly? You seem to really have your work cut out for yourself here, the hoop jumping we have to do to play this game is really bad.

To fix the account You need to reset the password on the linked EA account that account has the persona oosumei (not sir_nikkopen your posting on now) that EA account uses the same gmail email as on your swtor account
use the following link (insert the swtor email) to reset the password then login on that EA account to fix the swtor account for purchasing
for future purchases, use incognito mode on chrome initially if you purchase on swtor.com to be sure browser cache and cookies is cleared
When i checked they had no email from the swtor account email , try resending firstup , ensure it is under 4mb , let me know when sent and i can check if they see it

Thanks for that @proxos666 , I can now purchase subs via the swtor.com website now.
In regards to my steam purchase, I have sent the email again, they both total 590kb in size, so its not a size issue.
I've attached a screenshot of the email I have sent.
