That item is meant to be a one time purchase per account, not to be used as a recurring purchase. If you do not wish to subscribe directly via the swtor.com site you can either purchase a 60 day time card from swtor.com or from amazon.com as found here:
http://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-Republic-Prepaid-Subscription/dp/B00HWYDM3O/
They will email you a code that you can then apply directly upon purchase of the time card, they won't actually send you anything in the actual mail.
Oh ok. I honestly don't care if it's gonna be a recurring payment thing. In fact I wanted it to be a one time payment. And so if I buy the 30 day subscription from Origin, will it work as normally, it's not recurring and is a one time purchase only? Also if I do buy this and redeem the code... will it give me an error like it would if I were to buy directly from SWTOR?

- The purchase from Origin is for the game itself. it's not meant to be bought more then once per person per account. To remain a subscriber, you need to either purchase a subscription either recurring or one time when you choose to from swtor.com directly or buy a 60 day time card from a 3rd party like amazon.

- As long as you enter the correct code, no it will not give an error.
