same reply as @cpursley099 swtor username ?
Hey, so yeah I can´t subscribe, obviously. I have tried everything mentioned in this thread and all the other threads,
-Reset PW and logged in to the EA Acc
-Changed Payment method
-Used different browser
-Used different Devices, with different browsers
and yeah it still doesn´t work.
and no I'm not going to call some help hotline, I just want to give these guys my money and they are blocking me from it.
EDIT: SWTOR "Disply" name: Curryking

You will need to call swtor support when the phone lines are open to fix an account issue on that swtor account
https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion-Technical/INFO-Getting-Help-and-Board-Guidlines/td-p/48...maybe skype or voip will be a better option , otherwise if you make a new account you can purchase

@proxos666 thx for the response, but to be honest I'm not gonna call anyone, it's 2022 if a company doesn't want my money, fine.
I mean this thread alone has like what 2000 entries, so they know something is broken and yet everyone has to come to them personally to get it fixed?

@proxos666: Same issue here. When trying to buy the 30 day subscription with a credit card, I get the error. SWTOR account name: tigrina
Thanks for doing this.

Support said the account is fine , however it is showing as a payment issue , if the card your using uses additional security protection like a pin to authorise i dont think swtor asks for it so it gets declined by the bank
bottom line try a different payment method or try paypal etc

@proxos666Thank you for the info!
To be entirely fair; credit cards using additional security is mandatory throughout the European Union. It feels very weird to me that SWTOR's payment provider wouldn't account for this.
Also, as a European, Paypal is pretty useless to me so I do not have or want an account. This makes it impossible to have a subscription.
Bonus: this card used to work fine before I took a long break.
Of course none of this can be fixed by you or support, but I do wish I had a way to put this message to someone who can decide on these things ;(

try removing and re-adding the card just in case it helps

I had the same problem but I was able to buy both Cartell Coins and that 60-day non-recurring sub.
It feels a bit like a scam. Well, not that it surprises me from EA. - 3 years ago
@proxos666I'm having the same problem, I want to buy a 30-day sub but it says error try again later. Have tried changing my browser didnt work.

Yeah, I was browsing your replies to others about resetting EA account's password. Turned out I'd used wrong email when I reset my password there. After I've used the correct one, the order went through. Thanks for your time.

Hello, apparently I have an issue saying that an error has occured with the payment, just as the othger stated above. Can't really say why, cause the cartel coins used to work just fine. My SWTOR id is MadMatrixx
Edit: I am using PayPal as payment method.

if you have an issue with coins, send an email to support@swtor.com and include the swtor account name so they can help further

Your linked EA account has been disabled , the email address used was the yahoo email on your swtor account
Use this link and enter the swtor email address , that should restore the account - 3 years ago
Thank you very much, now it worked. Didn't know they needed to have the same emails.
All the best to you!
