SWTOR website account login issues

This issue has been going on for years, but today it has been the worst it has ever been. I've managed to successfully login to the swtor site half a dozen times today, but it is like the website is failing to recognise i am logged in on the forum side of the website at all today. i managed to get one post in but aside from that the usual means to closing firefox and relogging on the swtor isn't working as a means to get around this issue.

With that stated i'm unable to post or read any private messages because it keeps saying i need to log in. I don't know if this is related to that Akamai thing, but everything is the same it has been for years with no changes since with exception to the latest updates in the base firefox and security programs.

aside from essential cookies needed to interact with websites? otherwise all the others and any ads are dealt with by my security settings.
