I've been having this problem for well over a week. My most recent attempt at a fix (completely reinstalling my AMD driver) has failed, and I'm out of options. Note that I was able to play the game JUST FINE about two hour ago. I've included my DxDiag as has everyone else.
Check your windows updates and see if you can identify the recent update and roll back from it.
Came across another affected on reddit and apparently after he rolled it back he was good again, would be good to know exactly what update this was though

SO I saw your post and I uninstalled the security update for windows 10 and the security update for adobe flash. Not sure which of the two fixed the problem but I can now play the game. Hopefully this helps others!

Press the windows key , Type "windows update" then click on update history , then at the top you will see uninstall updates it is likely KB4016871 that has caused this.
- Anonymous9 years agoI followed this and now I BSOD. I tried recovery after repair diagnostic failed. No I have to reformat and I upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 8, which I don't have the disc for anymore.
Who woulda known this problem would ruin my computer. Sweet deal.- proxos6669 years agoHero+
Something like that should not of occurred, I am sorry to hear that it did, windows updates like that one are meant to be designed to be rolled back without issue.
In case you need it the Win 10 ISO can be gotten at this link
