Solved

The login service is currently unavailable

Launcher gives me "The login service is currently unavailable. Details can be found on our twitter account" it has been going for 4 days now I can't log in there's also no repair icon on the launch...

    @proxos666 ok so i didint manage to do the ping cause i was busy with chores
    but i did set my DNS setting to google, 8.8.8.8 launcher seems to work now,

I have the same issue as OP with not being able to lock in and when I ping the launchpad it says 100% package loss after 4 time outs. What to do?

check you antivirus and firewall is not blocking the launcher to talk to the login server, this is more common cause

pinging to the login server will fail as the ping packets are no longer accepted after the move to the cloud

    Even after I disable my firewall the problem persists :/ plus I checked if it wasn't allowed by my firewall but that seems to be fine as well so its not my firewall
