You need to reset the password on the linked EA account that account has the persona ziomuslaw (not Valkorian97 that your posting on) that EA account uses a different email to swtor and is a onet email
use the following link to reset the password https://signin.ea.com/p/web2/resetPassword then login on that EA account to fix the swtor account for purchasing
for future purchases, use incognito mode on chrome initially if you purchase on swtor.com to be sure browser cache and cookies is cleared

Hi! Im having the same problem as everyone else, tried the incognito modes. I have resetted the password still no success.
Account name for SWTOR is ISTYZ

Your account has been sent to studio for fixing ( there is no timeframe ) they will email when fixed
to subscribe for now as a workaround, if you install the game via steam and login and play on a character to be sure the accounts are linked , you can then subscribe via steam whilst this gets sorted

Hi @proxos666 I'm having the same problem. I already tried resetting my EA account password twice, use incognito mode and use another browser instead of Chrome. I haven't subscribed through steam yet as I'm reading mixed reviews online about the reliability.
My SWTOR display name is: MetalSmuggler.

Hello, I've recently decided to try to get back into SWTOR, but I can't buy a sub? "There is an issue with your Electronic Arts account which will prevent SWTOR purchases until resolved. Please contact customer support (https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-support) for further assistance." This notice pops up whenever i try to initiate a Sub purchase, I tried changing my password, but that didn't help...

Seems you have 2 issues to get resolved
first one is your account has been sent to the studio for an issue to get fixed
the second issue is the linked EA account has been banned , so you will need to open a ticket via help.ea.com for a banned Origin account
that EA / Origin account uses the same email that is on your swtor account

@proxos666 I have no ban or suspension history that I can see. I checked the Ban/Suspension history tab on this account.

did you login on the banned EA account that uses the same email as the swtor account , or did you check the ea account your posting with ? they are different accounts

Support see no account issue
they recommend to contact your bank first and wait 24 hours before making any new attempt. and if you continues to experience the issue to contact support

Hi, my username for login is AvantGuardCZ, its old old account, so it can be confusing. 🙂 I've changed my password already too but still can't become a subscriber status. Thank you 🙂

@proxos666 It appears I've got the same issue. I have separate emails for my swtor and ea accounts and I've reset the PW on both accounts, tried incognito mode and still I'm unable to subscribe or change the billing method.
swtor username is: Grizilkx
