Im having the same issue.
Ive tried all the other ways in this thread but nothing seems to work.

at present you can subscribe via steam , just be sure the accounts are linked by playing a character via steam before purchasing a subscription

to subscribe if you install the game via steam and login and play on a character to be sure the accounts are linked , you can subscribe via steam whilst this gets sorted

Cant subscribe i've tried everything. Steam says that i´ve successfully paid my 60 days subscription, my steam account is linked to swtor.com, i sent mails to [edit: email address removed] attaching images from my Steam account info, purchase history and screenshot of the payment , no solution yet, they said to me that i must call by phone, but here in Chile i dont have telephone asisstance from EA, i can´t call by VOIP neither, so i have no choice that request for help in this forum as my last hope. Thanks in advance

unfortunately you will need to call swtor support when the lines are open to fix the account issue

The only other thing you could do , is create a new swtor account , link it to steam and then resend your steam screenshots from the email address on the new swtor account
