Today I decided to subscribe (for 60 days), the money was debited from the card, but the subscription did not appear. The order status is open. Several hours have passed and the situation has not changed.
Account name: Telematross
Support said the account is ok to purchase now, they have placed the recent purchase in the refund queue so it will get refunded when it closes in the system

Hi my username is theqwertysig and I have this error too: "There is an issue with your Electronic Arts account which will prevent SWTOR purchases until resolved. Please contact customer support (https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-support) for further assistance." I changed my EA account password already multiple times, but it didn't work.

Your account has been sent to studio for fixing ( there is no timeframe ) they should email when it is fixed
to subscribe for now, if you install the game via steam and login and play on a character to be sure the accounts are linked , you can then subscribe via steam whilst this gets sorted
- 4 years ago@proxos666 can u tell how long i sgould waiy for refund?
- proxos6664 years agoHero+
Just checked with support , the transaction has closed , and has been refunded, i expect sometime next week, really depends on the banking merchants now.

Is there any disadvantage with going through Steam? Would kind of like to join the wife playing atm.
- proxos6664 years agoHero+
depending on the issue with the account steam , may or may not work , if it doesnt you will need to email the proof of purchase to swtor and that will take a few more days to sort

Thanks mate. I'm looking forward to playing again. I'll stand by.

You need to reset the password on the linked EA account that account has no persona (not Heisanburg) that EA account uses a iinet email is differentto what is on your swtor account
use the following link to reset the password https://signin.ea.com/p/web2/resetPassword then login on that EA account to fix the swtor account for purchasing
for future purchases, use incognito mode on chrome initially if you purchase on swtor.com to be sure browser cache and cookies is cleared

hope that helped
I'm a tad confused but trying to follow instructions.
OK, I have reset the passwords on Heisanburg EA account. What do I do next?
- proxos6664 years agoHero+
The EA account is not Heisanburg , the EA account uses a iinet email but it is not the email on the swtor account
the email would of been used on the swtor account either at account creation or some time after
- 4 years ago
I've just tried all of my old emails. I'm stumped. Do you know if it was an iinet email?
- proxos6664 years agoHero+
yes iinet email
I have entered every iinet email I have had in the past. The only one EA finds as an account is the one attached to my Heisanburg account.
- proxos6664 years agoHero+
Will see if can narrow it down , if i cant before the phone lines open around 1am AEST calling swtor support maybe best they can update the email on the linked EA account
