There is an issue with your Electronic Arts account

Ive not played for quite a while. Had no PC, however now have one, logged into my SWTOR account and thought, ill resubscribe, but i am getting this error.

There is an issue with your Electronic Arts account which will prevent SWTOR purchases until resolved. Please contact customer support for further assistance.

Ive gone onto my EA account, theres no ban history or anything of the like? ive looked through previous posts, but unsure what to do, hoping its something simple.

Swtor account displayname ?

The linked ea account can be disabled , this causes purchasing to stop on the swtor account

You can try entering the email address used to "create" the swtor account ( this may or may not be a different email to what is now used on the swtor account ) into this link and reset the password on that ea account

then use incognito mode with chrome or delete the web browser cache and cookies and see if the issue persists

once i have the displayname can check with swtor support when the are back online on Monday for nature of the account issue etc

No idea what happened... however after messing around with multiple EA accounts i seem to have...it suddenly worked. maybe logging into one for the first time in god knows how long did something, thank you for your help, without it, id have been a wee bit frustrated.

Mine shows this as well, but i've only logged into this one account.
Account name is " arisythila "
I've tried to call the number, but nobody answers, and tried multiple times throughout the day. But no bueno. Even trying to do a redeem code, same error.

Me again, sorry. Username: Ajbone.
I contacted support, they merged the account and submitted a ban appeal, but I was instantly banned again, still unable to buy a subscription and have a pending ban appeal. Why do they make this so hard? Anyway, thank you for your help throughout this.

You will need to call swtor support when the lines are open to fix the account issue

The linked ea account was disabled and data wiped due to no usage, however it seems the required email to restore that account has been used to create another (different) EA account

So have an email address ready to place on the linked ea account so it can be restored, once that occurs purchasing on swtor will work as intended

I am having the same issue: There is an issue with your Electronic Arts account which will prevent SWTOR purchases until resolved. Please contact customer support for further assistance. I have made sure emails match both accounts and updated my passwords. Its been a few years since I have played and thought i would start again and get a subscription. No my account is not linked with steam either. @proxos666
