TV says no video available when i press play SWTOR

Good evening, I have the download done, i press play and it says no video available on my tv, is this the game just loading or is there an issue, it isn't my PC, as it doesn't happen with any other f...

sounds like its native pc output is only 1024 x 768 that is possible

edit - cable connection type may affect resolution available too 

edit 2 - the only other thing i can think of is that some tv's had a setting to be enabled when connecting a PC that affected the resolution available too

@proxos666 i can set the res of the pc to 1080 in nvidia control panel, it is just the tv i think, because with my laptop at res 1366x768 things were cut off aswell

    @michaelsel28 

    i found a manual for a luxor 32inch not sure how similar that is the problem

    but it says switch to PC source. See Input selection section. Set the resolution that suits your viewing requirements. 
     
    it then just says If you switch your PC to an unsupported mode, a warning OSD will appear on the screen.

    @proxos666 it does have a pc mode but it has pc/vga so i may need a VGA connection which my PC does not have, it just has HDMI and DVI
