Unable to purchase SWTOR subscription or redeem codes.

I am a returning player who attempted to purchase the Storm 1 subscription pack.  I received an error 409 and a notice that there was an issue with my EA account.  The link just took me to the generic EA customer support site, but I could not find anything to resolve my issue.  I was able to log into my EA account and found no notices or issues.  I verified my email address and received the confirmation number when I logged into the EA website.

I also attempted to redeem a code for a pet listed in the new patch notes.  Again I got an error message stating there was a problem with my EA account but again the link went to a generic EA help page with no real information on what I need to do to fix whatever this issue is that is preventing me for making purchases and redeeming codes.

Any help would be appreciated.

    Error 409 means there is an issue with the linked EA account, that EA account likely uses the same email address to create the swtor account 

    You can try a password reset on the EA account, use this link  to reset the password then login on that EA account

    Be sure to use incognito mode with chrome or delete the browser cache and cookies to be sure it isnt cached if purchasing on swtor.com

    otherwise call swtor support when the lines are open
