Is this a debit mastercard ? if so it likely cant be used to purchase a subscription , it may work for buying 60 days sub
To fix the account You need to reset the password on the linked EA account that account uses a yahoo.com email ,(swtor is not the same as gmail)
use the following link (insert the yahoo.com email) to reset the password then login on that EA account to fix the swtor account for purchasing

for future purchases, use incognito mode on chrome initially if you purchase on swtor.com to be sure browser cache and cookies is cleared.

You need to call swtor support when the lines are open to fix the account issue, it should be a quick fix
I also have this issue. Name is Nethanar. I've reset the password for my EA account, but I'm not sure if it's the right account since I can't find which EA account is connected to my SWTOR account.

they suggest to fully remove your payment method, make sure details are ok , and try with paypal etc, if keeps happening might want to check with payment method provider and contact swtor support if it keeps happening
You can see the email used on the linked ea account on the transaction history page (right hand side) in your swtor account
Strange. I just made a different online purchase with the same debit card details (though inside my own country), and it worked fine. So I don't see how it could be an issue with my card. PayPal appears to have worked, so I suppose it doesn't matter that the debit details don't work.

Hey man, i seem to have the same issue as everyone else...i had a null account before making this one (i guess EA deleted the old one) But i cant buy anything using my MasterCard, while i was able to subscribe about 12 days ago. Nickname is Heartlesscho

you will need to call swtor support when the lines are open to fix the account issue
Support see no account issue, they do see a number of failed attempts though, they suggest trying a secondary payment method and not trying any more purchases for 24 hours.
