Windows 10 non-responsive/slow after opening SWTOR!

Hello,

I'm not sure what's causing this issue, but every time I open up SWTOR and only SWTOR, Windows 10 becomes very non-responsive and laggy - Everything windows related takes at least 5-10 seconds to load or appear such as the task manager or a simple folder, however, it doesn't affect Chrome or whenever I play SWTOR itself or any other game.

It forces me to log in out and, and the problem disappears unless I play the game again.

I've only used Windows 7 in the past and never experienced this problem, but as of late, I had to get a new laptop with Win10, so I'm not sure why the game is causing this.

Is there a way to fix this issue?

Thanks.

The only thing I can see in the dxdiag is window update issues is this why your still on 14393.rs1_release_inmarket.170906-1810

    Fault bucket 126773860466, type 5
    Event Name: WinSetupDiag02
    Response: Not available
    Cab Id: 0

Best way forward for the update issue is to open a command prompt as administrator and type initially

    sfc /scannow

let this run looking at the dxdiag it will find errors to correct.

With Swtor issue, nothing obvious but I can see you use teamviewer as there is a crash for it as well.

as test close it down properly before running swtor for testing

    and do the following

right mouse click on the game shortcut and select properties

then go to the compat tab and tick run as administrator and disable fullscreen optimisations

see if this has any affect on this delay issue.
